Circularity

Towards circular fashion
For Maje, a garment does not end with its first use. Driven by this belief, the brand offers its own approach to second-hand, repair, rental and product upcycling to extend the life of its creations. A circular approach that transforms the way we experience fashion, reducing its impact and optimising resources.

A different approach to fashion

With rental, Maje offers another way of experiencing fashion: wearing pieces for a special occasion or a set period of time, without necessarily buying them. This service provides access to iconic pieces, reduces overconsumption linked to 'one-off' purchases, and supports a model based on use rather than ownership.

With this in mind, the selection is mainly made up of evening dresses, jumpsuits, iconic coats, suits and accessories. Pieces are chosen for their quality, timelessness and ease of care.

A cycle designed to last

Before entering the service, every piece undergoes enhanced quality control, finishing checks and care testing. Between rentals, items are cleaned in specialist partner workshops, thoroughly checked and repaired if necessary.

At the end of its life in the service, a piece that is still in very good condition can be transferred to Maje second-hand; if it can no longer be resold, it is recovered to be upcycled.

Combined with repair and second-hand, rental helps to optimise the use of each item, diversify possibilities and limit the overall footprint of collections.
